Ms. Irizarry is proud to assist clients in English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Isis received a BA from Trinity College with Honors in Hispanic Studies, and an MA in Spanish Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, from the University of Connecticut, where she also taught Spanish to undergraduate students. After receiving a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, Isis served as a legal clerk with the Superior Court of Connecticut. During that time, Isis volunteered as an interpreter and translator on the asylum case of two Central American children. Compelled to continue her involvement in immigration law, Isis spent the following year working in a small Connecticut firm, focusing largely on asylum and removal cases.

In December of 2018, Isis volunteered with the Central American Exodus for two weeks. She provided legal assessments and orientations in Tijuana under the auspices of the border rights organization, Al Otro Lado. During this intense period, Isis was the lead attorney for the most vulnerable populations, coordinating specialized follow-up for key groups: LGBT people, pregnant people with medical conditions, people facing imminent danger, unaccompanied minors, and linguistically isolated people. Isis was among the core group of volunteers who coordinated the December 17, 2018 presentation of over a dozen asylum seekers at the Otay Mesa port of entry with California Congressmembers Barragán and Gomez.

Ms. Irizarry is licensed in Connecticut & Pennsylvania, and is authorized to practice immigration and naturalization law in all 50 states and U.S. territories pursuant to 8 U.S. Code § 1292.1. Ms. Irizarry is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
